Kodak EasyShare 6000

The Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock 6000 lets you download and power up.

Kodak has a long history in the photo biz -- but now needs to replace all that film it will no longer be developing. One way is the Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock 6000, a photo printer that allows you to directly dock your camera on top (assuming it's one of a number of Kodak models), and simultaneously download your pictures and charge up your camera. Reviewers agreed: They liked its print quality and convenience, although admitting that its concentration on Kodak devices limited its audience.

Type: Dye sublimation photo printer
Max. Print Speed: Approx. 90 seconds
Max. Print Size: 4 x 7 inches
Special Feature(s): Printer dock also recharges Kodak digital cameras

ZDNet Review

Rating: 7.2 out of 10

Liked: Impressive print quality; easy to operate; Windows and Macintosh compatible.

Disliked: No memory card slots; large footprint; AC-only operation.

In Short: Top-notch prints and easy operation makes this the photo printer of choice for compatible Kodak cameras. It does have a few drawbacks, though.

Pocket-lint Review

Rating: 8 out of 10

Liked: Easy to use, small, ability to charge camera at the same time.

Disliked: Only works with Kodak's EasyShare 6000 range.

In Short: If you’ve just invested in a Kodak camera and want to produce 6x4-inch prints this makes for a great addition to your digital imaging kit.
