CNET Review

Rating: 7.3 out of 10

Liked: Fine print quality; fast; adorable and portable; rechargeable battery pack included; allows direct printing from digital cameras.

Disliked: Expensive; included ink ribbon prints only five photos; no LCD or media slots; no editing software; printing process takes a lot of physical space.

In Short: The CP-330 doesn't have any whiz-bang features, but its compact design and quality output make it a reasonable choice among portable photo printers.

PC Magazine Review

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

Liked: Prints directly from PictBridge cameras. Included battery makes it truly portable. Offers up to 4- by 8-inch prints.

Disliked: Prints only from computers and cameras. Both the initial price and cost per page (for 4-by-6s) are on the high side.

In Short: The Canon CP-330 Compact Photo Printer is relatively expensive to buy and run, but output quality is just short of excellent, and it comes with a battery, so you can bring the printer with you and print photos on the spot.

MacUser Review

Rating: 3 out of 5

Liked: The finish is velvet-smooth and has the feel of a photo ouput from a high-street lab. Colours are bright, skin tones are realistic and edges are razor sharp. It's smart, fuss-free and clean. It's also very quiet.

Disliked: Printing from an eMac, our pictures took between one minute 34 and one minute 44 seconds to appear, which is considerably longer than Canon's 85-second estimate.

In Short: The Canon CP-330 is a joy to use, cheap to run and more convenient than an inkjet if all you want to do is print photos
