PC Magazine Review
Rating: 3 out of 5Liked: Reasonably fast performance for business applications and photos. Direct printing from cameras and memory cards. Includes a utility to scan and fax using your PC's modem
Disliked: No built-in fax modem. The good rating for photo output is below expectations for an ink jet-based photo printer.
In Short: The Lexmark P6250 is easy to use, with a color LCD that offers such features as ink-cartridge loading instructions. It also offers significantly better speed than most ink jet AIOs, particularly for business applications. However, photo-output quality is in the middle to low range for a model with "Photo" in its name.
CNET Review
Rating: 6.9 out of 10Liked: Easy to use and beginner-friendly; compact; stylish; good print quality; useful and uncomplicated software; inexpensive; Windows and Mac compatible.
Disliked: Glacial print speeds; mediocre scans; no standalone fax; must swap cartridges for volume text printing.
In Short: Lexmark simplifies this easy-on-the-eyes multifunction so that it won't confuse you, but can you trade ease of use for quality?
Computer Buyer Review
Rating: 3 out of 6Liked: It has an attractive menu system that most users will find easy to grasp. There are memory card slots for the seven most common formats.
Disliked: Although the print had accurate colors it wasn't the sharpest we've seen. With its photo cartridge left in place the Lexmark took nearly five minutes to print our five-page text document, and text wasn't quite solid black.
In Short: The P6250 looks stylish and different, but delivers mediocre print quality and suffers from high running costs.
