Reviews of Photo Printers

Find out what the reviewers are saying about the latest photo printers. These devices offer the ability to print professional-quality photos, either from your PC or directly from your digital camera.
Best of 2005: Photo Printers
Photo printers have become a nearly essential part of today's household, enabling photographers, either amateur or pro, to print out (and even edit) quality photos themselves. Prices vary: You can get a merely good photo printer for under $100, or a professional-level device for over $400. If you only print the occasional photo, it may be more cost-efficient to take it to the local photo store, and if you plan to use it for plain documents, get one that can produce good-quality type as well.
Dedicated Photo Printers
While many photo printers can also do double duty as a text printer, some manufacturers have chosen to concentrate instead on producing devices that can create high-quality photographs -- and that's all. Here are the five best dedicated photo printers out there. You may not be able to print out a business letter with one of these, but you can create one heck of a great photo.
