PC Magazine Review
Rating: 3 out of 5Liked: Good performance. Excellent text quality. Includes Ethernet port. Paper handling options include duplexer and trays for a maximum 1250 sheet capacity.
Disliked: Graphics and photo quality are at the low end of the range for color lasers. Support for legal-size paper requires optional paper tray.
In Short: The Konica Minolta magicolor 5430 DL offers good performance and reasonably capable paper handling options, with a maximum 1250-sheet capacity with duplexing. However, output quality is mixed. Text quality is excellent but graphics and photo quality are at the low end of the spectrum for color laser printers.
PC World Review
Rating: 3 out of 5Liked: Text was nicely formed, and even italic letters looked sharp. You can also run the 5430DL with Mac computers if you install a recommended PostScript emulator.
Disliked: Despite some good detail in shadows, excessive dithering and a strong ochre tint spoiled the results of our color tests. We clocked it printing text at a paltry 3 pages per minute.
In Short: The Konica Minolta MagiColor 5430DL's mediocre color printing and slow text print speed limit its appeal.
