PC Magazine Review
Rating: 4 out of 5Liked: Inexpensive. Fast performance for a four-pass design. Impressively easy setup. Excellent text quality. Respectable, if not ideal, graphic and photo output.
Disliked: The ratings for photos and graphics are less than the best quality available from a color laser.
In Short: The Konica Minolta magicolor 2400W drops the entry cost for color laser printing to its lowest level yet, while offering good to excellent output quality and better performance than most four-pass color lasers. More important, it strikes a winning balance among speed, output quality, and price.
PC World Review
Rating: 3.5 out of 5Liked: The lowest [price] we've seen yet for a color laser printer. It churned out text at 13.6 pages per minute and graphics at 3.2 ppm. Print quality was outstanding, beating that of printers several times its price.
Disliked: This USB 2.0 printer works only with Windows PCs, not Macs. Plus, it lacks integrated Ethernet and support for Windows printer sharing, limiting its appeal for small businesses.
In Short: If you have modest paper demands, the new Magicolor 2400W is a good, economical choice for adding a splash of color to your printing.
