Made for Businesses:
The Epson WorkForce 310 is designed for small businesses; it's networkable and features "laser-quality text and vibrant color output," Epson says.
Networkable:
The WorkForce 310 has a built-in Ethernet port so that it can be used by multiple computers. It can also be connected to a wireless router for wireless printing.
Consumable-friendly:
Small businesses print a lot, and the cost of inkjet cartridges can make a cheap printer really expensive. Epson offers high-capacity ink tanks that it claims provide about 50 percent more prints per cartridge. They'll save paper with (manual) duplexing, and the printer is Energy Star qualified as well.
Quick:
The WorkForce 310 can print at up to 16 pages per minute (black) and 5.5 pages per minute in color.
Affordable:
The printer has an estimated street price of $129.99.
Bottom Line:
Epson's new WorkForce 310, the latest addition to its line of all-in-one printers, is made for small businesses, offering them some potential cost-saving advantages such as high-capacity ink tanks, built-in wired / wireless networking, and fairly quick printing. Its Energy Star rating means they'll save some money on electricity as well--Epson claims that it uses 70 percent less energy than a laser printer.
