Who You Are
You have a new digital camera and youre going nuts! You are taking photos of everything, including close-ups of your neighbors marigolds (the colors look different at different times of day, right?), and youve just bought a several-megabyte memory card to hold it all. Your family has already told you that youre not coming near the family printer, because youve already used up the print cartridge twice.
What You Want
You want a serious photo printer. Six colors, high resolution printing, and if possible, an extra slot so you can print directly from the memory card (in case your family also denies you access to the computer).
One caveat: If youre mainly a family photo person, and you want to show off to the relatives immediately and you dont want Grandma to have to squint at the tiny display on your camera then try a small portable photo printer. You wont get quite the same quality, but it will be real close. And you'll have photos to hand out right on the spot.
