Who You Are
You have a new digital camera and you’re going nuts! You are taking photos of everything, including close-ups of your neighbor’s marigolds (the colors look different at different times of day, right?), and you’ve just bought a several-megabyte memory card to hold it all. Your family has already told you that you’re not coming near the family printer, because you’ve already used up the print cartridge twice.
What You Want
You want a serious photo printer. Six colors, high resolution printing, and if possible, an extra slot so you can print directly from the memory card (in case your family also denies you access to the computer).
One caveat: If you’re mainly a family photo person, and you want to show off to the relatives immediately – and you don’t want Grandma to have to squint at the tiny display on your camera – then try a small portable photo printer. You won’t get quite the same quality, but it will be real close. And you'll have photos to hand out right on the spot.
