Got Page Curl? You've Got Cockle
"Cockle" describes a printed page in which the ink has not yet been fully absorbed, leaving it slightly curled. Cockled pages typically will lie flat after the ink is absorbed into the paper fibers. Some printers delay between printing the front and back of duplex pages to give the ink a chance to dry, and thus avoid this problem.
