Guide Review - Review Roundup: HP Photosmart 245
Even photo printers can be limited as to their use, and at a list price of about $200, the HP PhotoSmart 245 isn't for most consumers.
It's nice and compact, using thermal ink technology. It will print directly from an HP digital camera, or accept data from a variety of memory cards. And it's got a neat LCD screen that lets you preselect an image and crop it or adjust the brightness.
But be aware: It only lets you print 4x6-inch photos. This means that it could be fine for people on the go, such as salespeople and realtors, but it's not going to do it for anybody who wants to use the printer as a day-to-day device.
