Seems as though HP has been saving all its releases for one day. Today it announced a host of new printers and apps that are primarily aimed at small businesses. Among the new releases:
- The HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw All-in-One Color Printer (shown). This printer has a 3.5-inch color touch screen to control printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. It can print up to 12 pages per minute (black) and eight ppm in color, and can connect via USB, wired, or wireless (802.11 b/g/n) connections. It's available now for under $500.
- The Officejet Pro 8500A Premium All-in-One Printer. This inkjet printer prints almost as fast as laser printers (up to 15 ppm black, 11 ppm color), "for up to 50% lower cost per page than lasers," HP claims. The Pro 8500A line (there are three) is available now, from $300 to $500.
- Other printers (from many of HP's lines) equipped with HP ePrint technology.
- New business apps aimed at increasing the productivity of small businesses.
