How to Clean the Inside of Your Printer

By , About.com Guide   January 21, 2010

Follow me on:

The inside of your printer can get dirty, thanks to all the ink, dust, lint, and (if your house is anything like mine) cat hair that gets inside everything. All that stuff can conspire to make your prints look bad, leaving you to tear your hair out while trying to figure out what the problem is. So save yourself some hassle and give your printer a good cleaning every once in a while. It's easy--all you need are some clean cloths, a few minutes, and some Step-by-Step pictures that show you which part need to be cleaned.
