Epson Launches Two New, Faster Printers

Epson has released two new printers aimed at small businesses. The WorkForce 610 is an all-in-one printer with built-in WiFi capability as well as wired networking. It offers a 2.5" tilt LCD screen and anautomatic document feeder. According to Epson, the printer "delivers the fastest laser quality on record," with speeds of up to 38 pages per minute color or monochrome at draft speeds, and 15 pages per minute monochrome at laser quality. The second new model is the WorkForce 1100, designed for printing in charts, graphics, and signs in wide formats (of course it can also handle smaller sizes). Both printers are Energy Star certified, and both have a suggested price of $199.99. The WorkForce 610 is available now for preorder through Amazon and BestBuy.com. The WorkForce 1100 is also available for preorder through Amazon but won't be available until September. Both printers will also be available at Epson's online store.
