When it comes to buying ink for your inkjet printer, there's cheap, and there's reliable. That's not to say you'll always go wrong with third-party inks, but if quality is paramount, it's often best not to take a chance. But where to find good prices on ink? ConsumerSearch.com offers reviews of printer ink retailers and explains which inks work best with which printers. (ConsumerSearch is owned by The New York Times Company, just like About.com, but we don't have any editorial connection.)

Good review and links. Ink is so expensive!
One question. Is there a limit to how many times a ink cartrage can be refilled? What determines the success?
Do NOT buy ink cartridges from Clickinks.com. They say %100% Satisfaction Guaranteed; but they do not stand by their products. Remanufactured inks don’t work.
