PC World's Agam Shah reports that HP is launching a new series of printers aimed at small businesses. The OfficeJet inkjet printers, which should be available later this month, prints pages faster with a lower cost per page than earlier printers, according to HP.
Shah lays out the specs:
The HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One series of printers, which is priced between $299 and $499, can print pages at speeds comparable to laser printers. New HP Officejet Pro 8000 printers, priced between $149 and $179, include wired and wireless networking options for multiple users to print documents from remote locations. New HP Officejet 6500 All-in-One series printers includes wireless networking and are priced between $149 and $199.Will be fun to try them out and see if they're all HP says they are. If so, a wireless all-in-one from HP for $149 sounds like a great deal.

I will believe they are for small businesses when they come out with affordable ink, and fewer ink cartiages. It seem every time they come out with a new printer, there is a new cartiage size!
I wish they would adopt the KISS principle where printers are concerned!
The HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless is absolutely the best wireless ink printer on the market. It is fast and reliable, I can recommend it to everybody.
