The Epson Workforce 30 is limited in functionality--you won't get a fax or scanner or copier in this almost-full-size unit--but it what it does, it does very well. For the price, this is a pretty good deal.Photo copyright Epson

This printer is one of the great rip-offs of all time. It’s acquisition cost is low but its operating cost is absurdly high. Ink does not last and you must buy from Epson as the machine is engineered with a cartridge chip that rejects aftermarket refilled cartridges. If you run out of black ink, you have to buy two cartridges, if you only get one it will refuse to function. The ink is extremely expensive considering how long it alasts
You also get continuing annoying popups offering to sell you ink at their ripoff prices. Apparently they’ve never heard of anti-trust laws. A class action suit is sure to come over this attempt to rip off the public to sell ink.
It is clunky, loud, prone to paper misfeeds.
Absolute garbage. Do NOT under any circumstance waste your money on this piece of junk
