Scan Your Signature

Sunday January 4, 2009
To go truly paperless, it helps to have a scanned version of your signature that you can append to documents that get e-mailed otherwise electronically sent. Productivity 501 shows you the best way in their article How to Create a Scanned Signature. They use Photoshop to do it, but any (free) graphics-editing software should do the trick just as well (while saving you hundreds of dollars). About.com's graphics guru Sue Chastain has a list of graphics freeware (as well as lots of handy hints). You'll also need a scanner, of course, to get your signature digitized.
