More About Recycle Cartridges

Thursday October 19, 2006
The Capital Times, a paper/site out of Madison, Wisc., has published an interesting article about the third-party firms that recycle ink and toner cartridges. Such companies as Rapid Refill Ink, Cartridge World, and Caboodle Cartridge are offering customers lower prices for their ink -- even though manufacturers still insist (perhaps justifiably) that the best way to get quality documents and photos is to use original-manufacturer products. The conclusion of at least analyst is one that I've heard elsewhere: If you do a lot of printing, you might want to do your draft prints using a lower-cost refurbished cartridge, but for the quality stuff, stick with the originals.
