Review: The Epson Perfection V100 Photo Scanner

Sunday October 15, 2006
Epson Perfection V100Sometimes you don't need all the bells, whistles, and other extras that add both functionality and price to computer hardware. Sometimes you just need to do what you gotta do. If what you gotta do is scann the family photos, and you don't have a lot of money to spend on a scanner, you may want to take a look at Epson's Perfection V100 Photo Scanner. I looked at one this weekend, and while it doesn't have some of the extras that can come in really handy -- such as an automatic film strip feeder -- it does a good job at scanning old photos and tweaking them to make them look new again.
