The Canon Selphy CP510 Photo Printer
Monday October 9, 2006
These days, most households are either looking for a small, inexpensive printer that can also scan, copy, and occasionally put out a nice photo or a fax (in other words, and all-in-one), or they're looking for something that can produce dynamite photos. For the latter, you are well-advised to look for a dye-sub printer. Dye sublimation is a process by which the the ink goes straight from a solid to a gaseous state (and then solidifies again on the paper). It produces high-quality prints, but is not practical for most other uses -- which is why it is used mainly on small photo printers such as the Canon Selphy CP510, a nice little photo printer at a very nice little price.
