Dell Adds Five Laser Printers To Its Arsenal

Once upon a time, Dell was mainly known for selling computers over the Web. However, recently, the PC maker has decided to enter the printer-making (or, at least, the printer-selling) market, and has just announced five -- count 'em -- five laser printers. According to this announcement in PC World, the new hardware includes two color-printer models--the 3010cn and 5110cn--and three back-and-white printers, the 5310n, 5210n, and 1815dn. The article opines that Dell is going up against HP for the laser printer market. That may be difficult -- HP has a long-time reputation that would be difficult to knock down -- but Dell looks like it wants to try.
