Is HP Stacking the Decks?

David DeJean of Desktop Pipeline has done some detective work -- he got an email complaining about the cost of maintaining the HP Color LaserJet 2600n, which had been recently reviewed on his site. It said that HP forced consumers to replace their ink cartridges after a fixed period of time whether the cartridges needed to be replaced or not.
David was willing to believe it, until he did a bit of research. What he found is surprising...
