CNN Discovers Photo Printing
Tuesday December 13, 2005
A recent article on the CNN Web site (actually, from the AP) talks about how easy it is these days to get "a hard copy of your memories." According to the article, more than two-thirds of the estimated 17 billion digital camera prints this year were created on home printers, while another 27 percent came from retailers and the remainder from online services.
Not surprising. Although getting your snapshots printed in a local shop may actually be cheaper, the convenience of printing them out at home (not to mention the temptation to make your baby brother's eyes crossed or Grandpa's nose a bit redder) makes all the difference.
