Is Ink Indeed Thicker Than Water?

Tuesday October 25, 2005
David DeJean, editor of the TechWeb technology site Desktop Pipeline (Full Disclosure: I work with David on the TechWeb sites), has written a blog entry about HP's recent lawsuit against Cartridge World.

DeJean notes that HP presents its suits as being for the benefit of its customers -- a theory that DeJean somewhat doubts. He addresses his doubts to Pradeep Jotwani, senior VP of supplies, thus: "Forgive me, Mr. Jotwani, if I harbor the unworthy suspicion that you're a lot less interested in protecting my interests than you are in maintaining margins on your cartridges that look like they should make your business more profitable than bank robbery."

You tell 'em, David.
