Printing In Newark
For that, we heard a talk by a young woman who worked for the city of Newark about how Xerox was solving their paper problems. On the one hand, it was fascinating to hear the process by which government changes employees' status (every time somebody was fired, hired, or needed a vacation, a piece of paper had to go to several offices for several signatures), and the young woman spoke well.
On the other, I've often wondered why corporations take up time with customers talking about how well the product works for them. Does Xerox imagine somebody is going to use their printers because the city of Newark does? (Of course, I may be wrong -- maybe somebody will...)
At any rate, if you're into corporate presentations by printer manufacturers, here's a link to the rebroadcast.
