Remanufactured printer cartridges to account for 24% of the market by 2008 by ZDNet's Alex Moskalyuk -- According to Lyra Research, in the past five years the share of remanufactured printer cartridges in the cartridge market rose from 14% to 17%. Lyra expects the share of remanufactured printer cartridges to rise to 24% by 2008.
In a market where consumers are increasingly looking for ways to avoid paying the high prices of ink and toner cartridges, it isn't surprisingly that the use of remanufactured cartridges are rising. And as they become more reliable, those numbers will probably continue to increase.
