Falling Prices, Falling Jobs

What's the good thing about continuously falling printer prices? Well, printers of all kinds are a lot more affordable, even for households with limited budgets. What's the bad thing about it? When companies don't get the profit margins they expect, somebody may lose their job. For example, HP just announced that it may cut 10 percent or more of its employees to try to regain lost market share.
That's 10 percent who won't be buying any new printers soon.
