Consumer Reports On Printers
Sunday April 10, 2005
The latest issue of Consumer Reports has an article on how to choose a printer. Online, non-members can read a nice summary of the state of today's home printer market (inkjets inexpensive and excellent; lasers good for black-and-white printing, think about supply costs; consider an all-in-one). Consumer Reports members can access their latest ratings.
And while I've never been wild about Consumer Reports as a source of tech ratings (they always seemed to me to lag behind such tech-expert pubs as, say, PC Magazine), they have gotten a lot better recently. If you're looking for good comparison shopping, this is the place.
