HP Sues Ink Cartridge Refillers

The war between the printer manufacturers and third-party companies (i.e. not printer manufacturers) goes on. HP has sued two companies that sell refilled ink cartridges in Madison, WI, claiming that the company's ink violates three patents. At the same time, HP apparently reasserted that customers have the right to buy refilled cartridges.

One suspects that HP doesn't mind, as long as they're the one doing the refilling....
