Do You Have To Buy Paper To Match Your Printer?

Thursday March 24, 2005
The other day, I got an email from a reader who wanted to know if it was safe to buy paper for her printer that did not come directly from the printer manufacturer. This wasn't the first time I've been asked that question. Many printer users assume that because they are told that they must use a certain type of ink cartridge with their printer -- and because the instructions that came with their printer recommended a certain brand of paper -- it is unsafe to use any other.

Not true. Check out a new FAQ for a bit more on this subject.
