Canon Loses in Court

In Japan, it is now legal to sell recycled Canon printer cartridges.

According to this article, a printer cartridge recycling company called Recycle Assist was sued by Canon last April, which claimed that RA was violating its patents. Canon lost last week. It seems that, slowly but surely, the courts are admonishing those printer companies who have tried to keep hold of the highly lucrative ink cartridge market.
