Camera Companies Look at Printers
Sunday February 15, 2004
PC Magazine's ExtremeTech site just published an interesting article on how camera makers -- all of whom have switched or are switching to digital photography -- are now looking to the printer market to regain some of the market share they lost. People no longer need to have their photos developed -- apparently about 80 percent of photos are now printed at home. As a result, companies such as Eastman Kodak, Fuji, and Olympus are looking into the possibility of selling photo printers for home use. You can find the article right here.
