Parliamentary Prints

Thursday December 11, 2003
A new item by Mike Magee on the UK site The Inquirer states that a bill passed by the European Parliament recently will prevent printer companies from forcing buyers to purchase their own (rather than third-party) cartridges. According to Magee, the bill won't go into effect until 2006. It's a nice idea -- now, if we can only force American companies from inferring that third-party cartridges are part of some kind of nasty conspiracy -- and force more third-party cartridge suppliers to offer quality goods. The Inquirer article can be found here.

They aren’t “inferring” anything. They are implying.
